Imagine waking up to the smell of homemade bread. This is such an easy and basic recipe. Really easy to make and it only requires 10 minutes of elbow and grease. Even better if you have a stand mixer.
• 500g White bread flour
• 1tsp sugar
• 1tsp salt
• 7g (1 sachet) yeast
• 15 g unsalted Butter
• 300ml luke warm water
• sunflower oil for greasing
Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture and add the warm water. Mix together until a soft dough starts to form. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic, this can take up to 10 minutes.
Shape the dough into a loaf in a lightly greased loaf tin or shape into rolls (8 equal parts). Cover with greased cling film (greased with sunflower oil) for an hour to double in size.
Sprinkle dough with flour and bake at 200C for 30-40min for bread loaf and 15-20 min for bread rolls, bake at the same heat. How can you tell bread is baked through? Bread will sound hollow when tapped underneath. Bon appétit.
