(This will make 8-10 cups of pumpkin spice latte)

Pumpkin Spice Syrup Ingredients

  • 1 can of pumpkin purée 425g
  • 1 can condensed milk 397g (or substitute with vegan condensed milk alternative)
  • 170 g of sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp  ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 salt

Pumpkin Spice Latte Ingredients

  • 5-6 tbsp pumpkin syrup
  • 60ml hot espresso or coffee
  • 1 cup hot milk (or substitute with dairy free milk or almond milk)
  • whipped cream for garnish *optional

In a saucepan whisk together all the ingredients. Stir and bring the ingredients to a simmer then a boil. Turn the heat down to medium and simmer for 2 minutes, whisking constantly until sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat, whisk again, and allow to cool. It can be used immediately or allow the mixture to cool, then pour into a glass jar or an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator. It will be thick. You can shake the covered jar or stir to blend again if needed. It should last for about 2 weeks in the fridge.

For the Pumpkin latte, use 4-5 tablespoon pumpkin spice syrup for a cup of coffee. Decorate with freshly whipped cream and a sprinkles of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon. Enjoy!
